6th pilot rapid assessment of WP5 JA2 Strand B on “Endovascular therapy using mechanical thrombectomy devices for acute ischaemic stroke”

The purpose of the assessment is to examine the effectiveness and safety of mechanical thrombectomy in adults aged 18 years or older with acute ischaemic stroke in the anterior and/or posterior region. The analysis included CE-marked aspiration/suction devices, and stent and clot retrievers.

Final version of the assessment was published in February 2016
