EUnetHTA Partner application process

To become a EUnetHTA Partner , an organisation must be officially nominated by the Ministry of Health of their country to participate in the EUnetHTA Joint Action 2010-2012. An official letter of nomination signed by an appropriate official of the Ministry should be sent to the EUnetHTA Secretariat. It should include a brief description of the organisation’s competencies, mandate and link to the health policy in its country setting and contact information.

The EUnetHTA Secretariat within a week after receiving a letter forwards the letter to the EUnetHTA Plenary Assembly for approval of a new partner and to the EAHC for their information. The Plenary Assembly members have 15 days to approve or reject giving a status of a EUnetHTA Partner to the nominated organisation.  The Secretariat informs the nominated organisation, the Ministry and the EAHC about the Plenary Assembly’s decision. The accepted organisation should inform the Secretariat about which Work Package(s) they will participate in.
Participation in the EUnetHTA Joint Action is to be financed by the newly admitted organisation outside of the EUnetHTA JA budget.
